The coach was full and there were three walks on offer in order to satisfy the aspirations of all on board. Not a day on the high peaks of Snowdonia but this was still a really good tramp of 10+ miles and overall it was a grand day out.\u00a0I did however manage to take a right tumble in the heather during the day and bump my head &#8211; no harm done but it could have been a lot worse had the ground been rock strewn. Need to get a grip! There were 12 of us on the walk and we did some good stuff today &#8211; stream crossings on randomly placed stepping stones, a wall crossing where we all chose different options, a couple of decent climbs, one of which took us on to Conway Mountain and finally a beer at the Liverpool Arms back in the town. These are good trips with excellent walking on offer, but they are also good trips for the social aspect of the day where Members who are at different points in their respective walking lifetimes can mingle and share their experiences.
