Jumbles Country Park 07.01.18

This was my first walk of 2018 and it was a lovely day with clear blue skies following a sharp overnight frost. My good lady was in charge today and I was therefore given the job of back marker for our group of 19. No worries here as with this role one can amble along, take photographs, and of course duck off the path for a comfort break without disrupting the walk too much. The route was  very straightforward with only one “climb” of note, this being to reach the top of Cheetham Close, from where excellent views were had and photographs were taken. The remainder of the route was reasonably flat as it circled around some of the various reservoirs in the vicinity. A nice easier walk to get us going in 2018 but no doubt about it, some harder days will be coming as the weather and underfoot conditions improve.
